A net zero job is a position within sectors of the economy that produce goods and services for
environmental protection purposes. These jobs support sustainable practices, reduce environmental impacts, enhance energy efficiency, minimise waste and protect ecosystems.

The Net Zero Careers Accelerator is an inclusive employment programme, powered by GoodPeople, that aims to support 300+ diverse and under-resourced jobseekers into good jobs within the Net Zero economy over the next 2 years, generating over £9 million worth of social value to local communities in the process.

 

Candidates will get personalised support and training, and will be placed into good jobs from partners including local authorities, housing associations, and major green employers.
